Meet the Board
Nancy J. Steigerwalt
My husband Chris Landes and I moved to Headley in 2014 after consolidating households in Pennington, NJ and Phoenixville, PA. We specifically wanted to remain in a family community and are thrilled to see more young families moving in! We were attracted to Headley by all the mature trees and landscaping, the community pool, proximity to downtown and the fact that it is only an hour from the Jersey shore! Chris works at a charter school in nearby Bensalem, while Joan is a home-based marketing consultant. Joan is looking forward to working with the board to continue to maintain, modernize and improve the community for residents of all ages. She can often be spotted walking their cavapoos, Jake and Jules.
When Gregor and his wife Renate started to think about downsizing they decided to stay in this area where they have lived for 24 years. They first heard about Headley in 2012 when a friend moved here. After a visit to that friend in 2013, they saw a for sale sign that had not been there before. The next day they inquired about the house and ultimately bought it. At the end of August they moved in and enjoy the quiet setting. When the letter about the November meeting came and volunteers for the Board were asked to come forward Gregor thought it might be a good way to get to know the neighbors and be involved in the community. Since college graduation, he has worked in information technology and has held different management positions over the past 25 years. He currently works in Bristol and enjoys the short commute.

Kathy and I have lived at Headley since October 1998. We enjoy the park-like atmosphere and many of the activities planned by the recreation committee. Previously I served on the board for 6 years, 2 years as board president. Currently I work at the University of Pennsylvania managing a regional high-speed network supporting research and education. I grew up at George School and have spent most of my life in Bucks county except for brief periods in Maine, Ireland and Washington, DC and Philadelphia. I look forward to working with my fellow board members and residents to keep Headley as the kind of place we are all proud to live.
